What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Roof Of The Mouth After Taking Tylenol?
Hi, My mother in law had a colonoscopy and went under anesthesia four days ago. She is not feeling well today with headaches that she has taken 3 Tylenols and also the roof of her mouth has been tingling. Is this normal? And what can she do to help this pain?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your mother in law have symptoms of tingling sensation in the roof of the mouth tingling sensation after colonoscopy procedure seems to be due to effect of anesthesia and it could be due to minor nerve damage.
Need not to worry, this happens many a times. I would suggest you to wait for around 4-5 weeks your condition will resolve its own. You should visit oral surgeon and try to know the exact level of nerve injury if healing does not happen and go for nerve regeneration. Maintain hygiene of oral cavity.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
