What Causes Tingling Sensation In Tongue And Left Side Of Face?
Hi, I've experienced tingling in my tongue this afternoon then later tonight I've had tingling in my tongue & left side of my face. 3 years ago I had a suspected TIA, with tingling down my left side & weakness but as I was only 38 the doctors decided it may have been a migraine with extreme side affects. Should I be worried?
Understanding your concern. As per your query tingling sensation in tongue and left side of face indication nerve disorder . The most probable cause of your symptoms is trigeminal disorder . This could also be possible that this is initial stage of condition known as trigeminal neuralgia. Sometimes such symptoms can also occur due to lack of blood supply to concern part or vitamin B12 supplement . The Doctor will treat accordingly.
So i would suggest you to consult neurosurgeon or oral surgeon for proper diagnosis and to rule out condition like injury to neck shoulder arm that is responsible for nerve dysfunction or issue related with blood supply as in case of atherosclerosis .
