What Causes Tinnitus After Using Soliwax Ear Drops?

Hi, I felt my right ear was blocked and went to a Dr. He suggested to use Soliwax ear drops. After using the Soliwax ear drops, some kind of hissing sound started in my ear which is terrific. Please let me whether this a normal behavior after using Soliwax ear drops. I m worried a lot if the accumulated wax can be removed or not after 6 days of Soliwax use. Regards, Venky

I can understand your concern.
No, this kind of hissing sound is not common after soliwax use.
Soliwax will mostly remove wax in 1-2 days.
Since it's 6 days and you are having tinnitus, we should definitely search for the cause.
In my opinion, you are mostly having inner ear infection which causes you tinnitus.
So better to get done inner ear examination.
You will need antibiotic ear drops.
