What Causes Tinnitus Along With Dizziness And Blurred Vision?
Hi! I have this disturbing in my ear that sounds like it was clogged and at the same time it was palpitating, while I am dizzy and having a blurry sight. So i went to a physician and gave me Gupisone, prednisolone 5 mg and advised me to take 4 tablets 3 times a day after each meal. I would like to ask if the medicine is valid according to my symptom s description including the advised dosage. I was not able to ask this question to the physician because I can t do it well in Arabic. Can you help me please with this concern. thank you
Tinnitus is not a disease in itself but it is a symptom that indicates that there is some underlying illness. I would suggest you consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Audiometry, X-ray MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
In case if ringing does not resolve then you can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti-anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
