What Causes Tinnitus And Pressure In The Ears?

I've been having severe ringing in my right ear. These days it feels like a pressure in my right side brain. And sometimes I have severe mucus coming out my nose and blocked like sinus.Could it just be chronic sinus ?And could it be dental related also?

Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of tinnitus and pressure in the ears which is mainly due to eustachian tube dysfunction as pressure imbalance is there.

Need not to worry. You should avoid touching or pricking ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause.

The doctor may order certain tests like audiological test, rushing test, high and low pitched test and prescribe proper course of antibiotics. Till then, do warm saline gargles and valsalva maneuvers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
