What Causes Tinnitus And Severe Headache?

Good morning...........What are some of the usual causes ringing in the ears? Usually one ear; no ear ache but I do have a fairly bad headache, which is not unusual. I am being treated by a pain management doctor for severe headaches, but the ringing (or buzzing) in my ear is new.

Hi,

The common cause for tinnitus is impacted wax in ear. Other causes include ear infection, tympanic membrane swelling, some growth in ear etc. To rule out underlying cause I suggest you investigate with otoscopy ear infection. According to cause specific treatment given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
