What Causes Tinnitus In Head And Headache?

I am experiencing a high pitched sound in my head with a headache and most frightening diminishing processing speed and retrieval. Hearing is normal MRI normal. There is something wrong however the PA at my Drs. Office today was dismissive. Thoughts?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tinnitus in head and headache. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are probably due meniere's disease . Meniere's disease appears to be the result of the abnormal amount of fluid in the inner ear.Factors that affect the fluid improper fluid drainage, allergies or viral infection. Doctor may order test like videonystagmography , rotary chair testing , VEMP or posturography. Doctor may recommend rehabilitation , hearing aid , meniett device or prescribe gentamicin or steroids. Doctor may also recommend surgery .
