Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your query it seems that squealing sound in ears that is persistent seems to be due to Tinnitus and can occur due to causes like
ear infection,
perforated eardrum, excess ear wax accumulation,
Eustachian tube dysfunction, Meniere's disease, TMJ disorders,
Acoustic Neuroma etc.
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Audiometry, x Ray MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
For reducing ringing you can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti
anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised..
White noise devices can be advised..
You can also be advised
Neuromodulation..
As far as tonsil stones are concerned they are formed due to calcification of food debris and dirt that gets accumulated over the tonsils and they are a common cause for bad breath and recurring tonsil inflammation..
They are however not appearing to be a cause for tinnitus..
To reduce the frequency of occurrence of stones you should gargle with 1:1 solution of
hydrogen peroxide and water..
Gargle with water after eating anything..
Limit intake of dairy and other high calcium containing foods..
Avoid exposure to very loud sounds and also avoid diving, swimming etc..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
