What Causes Tiredness And Difficulty In Losing Weight?

I have been gaining weight recently. I tried to workout and diet, but I haven t seen any significant changes. I also get really tired recently. I about an average get about 7.5 hours of sleep. It should be enough to keep me awake. But I get extremely tired even after getting long hours of sleep. I feel sluggish around the day as well. My periods are irregular and when it comes it is heavy as well. I have a history of thyroid problems in family. My mother has thyroid problems. I doubt that I have hypothyroidism or maybe depression. What do you think/

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This is suggestive of hormonal imbalance which may. ot be caused only bay thyroid hormones but also estrogen or steroid hormonal levels so these should be checked first and then other causes should be considered such as rheumatoid disorder or hematologic disorders.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
