Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tremors Along With Urinary And Bowel Incontinence?
I m having some strange things happen every night when I lay down to sleep I start shaking and then I start having some bladder and bowel urgency. It almost feels like my BP is high. I take it and it may be 150/90 on occasion but then comes down but still have symptoms. Keeps me up all night then in the daytime seems ok.
There can be variety of reasons for tremors with urinary and bowel incontinence, most likely to be spinal cordnerve compression through stenosis or else, which can manifest in lying down position during night and day time standing position may not be making you feel symptoms. After thorough neurology evaluation, I recommend to undergo an MRI or other relevant investigations to work up with the root cause and manage accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
