Hello,

Side effects of Benicar are weakness, increase in urine, spinning sensation, fainting attacks, etc. You should inform the treating doctor about the symptoms urgently so that the seizures can be managed. If your husband is diabetic then control blood glucose level at all cost as it may trigger peripheral artery disease and hence symptoms of tremors or weakness.

However, to detect any developing neurological disorders or epilepsy you are suggested to get clinically examined by a neurologist, get blood tests, NCV tests and investigation (CT, MRI, EEG, etc) and nerve biopsy done. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
