Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having stomach jerks at bed time and sometimes sitting up, most of time it is when I go to bed and during the night. I have been told by a doctor I may be having atypical seizures, but am not sure this is what is going on have been doing this since October 2016.
Hello, Welcom to Healthcaremagic.com, If you are feeling these symptoms regularly then you need to consult a neurologist. But what it seems to me is the abdominal muscles fluttering which is a symptom of anxiety, you need to avoid to take stress, avoid soft drinks and coffee. And also check it when you are not sleeping alone and if it increases sudden waking up or half sleep. If you have these symptoms you are having mild anxiety. Be relaxed and don't think about it too much. Hope you will benefit from it. Regards Dr Muzaffar
