What Causes Tremors In The Arms And Legs?

I had a fall in December 2016 where my body slid off my bed and my head got stuck between bed and chair then my entire body flipped upside down and I thought I broke my neck, I did not, yet since that day I ve had trembling in my arms and legs. I have been diagnosed with chronic persistent Lyme Disease, also Hypothyroid.Since that fall I have not needed thyroid rx, per 2 seperate blood tests approx. 4mos. apart. Any thoughts as to why I m trembling??????

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There's is a possibility of neck strain injuries which may present like pinched nerves weakness or numbness or tingling or incoordination or dizziness etc.

Also it may be a simple muscle spasm or strain. If you observe severe unremitting neck pain.

Neck pain unaffected by changes in position or pain that is not controlled or if relief is not provided with appropriate medication.

Severe night neck pain severe, persistent neck muscle spasms, inability to perform daily work or activities that one could do prior to the illness.

Then you may consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
