Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In her sleep, my wife shakes about every 30 to 60 seconds, noticeably her legs. The shake is preceded by a heavy snore. After the shakes, her breathing will get quieter with each breath, then completely quiet until the next period of a heavy snore and another shake. She is wide awake during the day.
Hello Your wife is possible obese a and is having obstructive sleep apnea, which is causing low oxygen saturation in her blood and leading to shakes, I would suggest a pulmonologist consult to clear rest of things for you and further treatment. Regards
