Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tremors On The Left Side Of The Mastectomy Site?
My mother is a 10 + breast cancer survivor. The past 8 months she has developed an uncontrollable shaking on the left side of her mastectomy. An Mri of the brain was normal. She was put on medication but it does little to control it. The cat scan shows nodules in the neck where she experiences much discomfort. She is meeting with a surgeon this week. She complains of unbearable fatigue which is unlike her.
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, your mother may be having relapse of the disease as the CAT scan shows the nodules in the neck and that might be troubling her nerves thus causing tremors.
She needs to consult her surgeon as soon as possible and get her workup for the neck nodules done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
