hi I have been having unilateral throat pain associated with painful swallowing and tension to the affected side of the body. it started with the left side and lasted for about a week and now switched to the right side....I don t have any fever but I would feel weakness and a slight tension headache. the pain is rated at about 6/10 with swallowing
I understand your concern and here I would like to tell you that usually one sided throat pain without fever are due to ulcer on soft palate / uvula / anterior pillar of tonsil / base of tongue on affected side. Most of the time these are dyspeptic (associated with gastric upset) but infective pathology is also quite common.
