What Causes Unusual Pain Under The Collarbone And Arm?

Hello, my name is Heidi, I am 29 and have five kids, in the last few months it seems like everytime I get upset or frustrated I get this weird pain under my collar bone it sort of cramps down my arm or up in my neck, lasts a while, goes away then comes back, seems like once it starts it doesn t go away all day...I have not been diagnosed with anything, no high blood pressure or irregular heart beat nothing, heart decease runs in my family, I am concerned what are the chances this pain is heart attack related?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think is better to make some examinations like X-ray or CT scan for a better conclusion. There are many reason for your symptoms. I think collarbone pain is as a result of arthritis, a bone infection, or another condition related to the position of your clavicle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
