What Causes Upper Arm And Shoulder Soreness Causing Severe Pain Upon Movement?
Went to emergency room early morning. blood pressure was taken consistently over a 3 hour period...today upper arm shoulder ares very sore and cannot move it without severe pain...what are the dangers here...should I wait it out or seek assistance..thanks don

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing the discomfort so that treatment can be started at the earliest. Your treating doctor may recommend some routine cardiac function tests, this is to stay on the safer side. Get treated at the earliest.

Such symptoms are commonly due to frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tear, shoulder impingement, muscle or tendon damage, damage to the peripheral nerve, shoulder tendinitis or bursitis, etc. Sometimes, it may be indicative of developing CAD.
