General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have shoulder soreness, upper arm pain associated with discomfort in moving the arm. Such symptoms are commonly due to frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tear, shoulder impingement, muscle or tendon damage, damage to the peripheral nerve, shoulder tendinitis or bursitis, etc.

Sometimes, it may be indicative of developing CAD. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing the discomfort so that treatment can be started at the earliest. Your treating doctor may recommend some routine cardiac function tests, this is to stay on the safer side. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
