Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
All of a sudden I have a small pain in my upper back on the right side - I thought it was from excercise- but it isnt really out side it hurts when I breathe some times or move - I am paranoid about pancretic cancer ( my mother had it and she complained of back pain- but she lost weight drasically) I have a small little painful nodule just below that area - it has been diagnosed in the past as a mucle knot as it is next to the spine. I am worried about internal tumors--- But I am worried- I have no fever -- no sudden loss of weight -- I am a little fatigued but i am working long hours- normal bowel movements.
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from muscular pain. Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). Muscle relaxant such as thiocolchicoside can be added. Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C supplementation can used to promote healing. To exclude internal tumours you can geat HRCT (high resolusion CT) of chest and abdomen. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
