What Causes Upper Respiratory Infection And Sore Throat?
Hi i have been diagnosed with a vaginal bacterial infection and also have ring worm. I have no insurance but was able to pay for the medicine for the ringworm but not the bacterial infection. Now i have been very sick for a week with a upper respitory infection. Most symptoms have resolved but i still have a very sore throat and what appear to be red spots on my throat. I was wondering if there could be any coralation between the two? And i am not sure if i should go to the drs to have my throat checked because i was just there on monday and they diagnosed me with the upper resp infection. I am paranoid that there is something more going on. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Bacterial vaginal infections are treatable with a course of metronidazole or flagyl. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes, take care of your hygiene. Do not douche. For sore throat gargle with warm saline water 2-3 times a day. Take levocetrizine & a course of doxt-100 for relief. If you are sexually active with multiple partners & had oral sex then you are suggested to take STD tests to be on the safer side.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
