What Causes Urinary Incontinence Along With Bad Odoured Loose Bowels?
my stools have a terrible smell and most of the time my bowel movements are loose, and I have sudden urgency to urinate. sometimes I wet the bed not realizing I am doing it. Sometimes I think I m through urinating, but realize I am still dribbling pee. What s wrong with me?
The bad odor loose stools are secondary to intestine infection with some sort of bug invading the intestine mucosa or altering the cAMP pathway of secretions of chloride and sodium. Urinary incontinence is sequence of severe gastro enteritis as urine gets concentrated in absence of adequate hydration and there is secondary cystitis through concentrated urine giving false sense of incontinence.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
