i tested positive for pregnancy two weeks ago. after the test i had a week of consistent medium flow of bright red blood containing tissue and some clots. i was sure it was a miscarriage so i did another test. it came out positive again. this last week i have experienced contractions sometimes severe. minimal spotting, and tiny white flakes in my urine. the contractions usually last all day. i have experienced occasional nausea. this pregnancy was not planned so it would probably be a good thing if this was a miscarriage. i constantly feel as though i am about to start my period. date of conception would have been april 23. what is your opinion.
Bleeding in the first trimester is common in pregnancy- about 15 percent of women... so it is not a guarantee you had a miscarriage even if your have been bleeding. You also can have a miscarriage where only part of the pregnancy expels from your uterus, which can lead to heavy prolonged bleeding and cramping. I suggest you see a doctor for an examination because if you have this condition you can lose a lot of blood, or develop an infection from your uterus being open. You may need medication or a minor procedure to remove the remainder of the pregnancy, or you may find out that the pregnancy is fine. So please see a health care provider to have an ultrasound and examination and they will go over your options. I hope this was helpful and answered your question. Take care.
