Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, yesterday i was engaging in rough sexual activity. im worried that he may have preffforated my vaginal wall. i have been bleeding dark red blood w no mucus. my perid came and finished late last month. Now my skin feels warm though i have this coolingfeeling in my stomache, it feels weird.
Indulging in rough intercourse will not penetrate the vaginal wall. Bleeding following intercourse could have happened due to excessive mechanical force, which could have caused abrasions in the vaginal mucosa.
Kindly cleanse the region with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily. Or bleeding could have been also caused if there is the presence of a uterine polyp.
Kindly wait for a couple of days for things to be back to normal. If the bleeding still continues, it would be advisable to get per vaginal examination by consulting Obstetrician. Also, you may need an ultrasound scan to know what could be the underlying cause for the bleeding.
Kindly consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
