What Causes Vaginal Pain During Urination After Having Intercourse?

Hi, I had sex with my boyfriend three days ago. The next day I felt pain in my vagina, but I m unsure if it is a vaginal year or a uti. I was bleeding slightly, which made me think it was a tear. Now the bleeding has stopped, but the pain persists. It is like a dull pain at this point and it occurs at times when I m urinating. However, sometimes I feel pain even when I m sitting or laying down.

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

As you are complaining of vaginal pain post sex it could be due to vigorous sex or UTI. I advice you to,
- Take a course of antibiotics once a day for 5days
- maintain strict vaginal hygiene
- Avoid vaginal tampons
- Daily Sitz bath
- Analgesics( Ibuprofen ) to get relieved of pain
- wear cotton innerwear.
