What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Bloating After Periods?

Hi i took emergency pills during my period on day 3 and have unprotected sex after that using pull out method. After took ecp which is day 3 my period has stop and 3 days later i found that there is blood spotting, bloating, tired and breast tenderness. i just wondering is it normal? thank you

Emergency contraceptive pills may give you those symptoms.A possible pregnancy even though rare in your case may also give you those symptoms.However, it is still too early to think of pregnancy.Wait till you miss your period.Another cause of your symptom could be a pelvic inflammatory disease or STI since you had a risky exposure during period.I will however suggest you just observe if symptoms will persist as the most likely cause if the effect of the pills.If it persist, you see the Doctor for an STI/PID investigation.
