What Causes Vaginal Spotting Post Periods With Mood Swings And Fatigue?
Hi, I m a 19 year old female, the last couple of weeks I have been slightly spotting, I started noticing this after using the restroom and cleaning myself it would find blood on the tissue. this happened for a couple of days, mind you I had my period Nov. 6th through the 11th, the spotting started the 16th. Also, I have been extremely tired I tend to nap about twice a day for about 2 to 3 hours at a time. There was also a whole week where I became very irritable and extremely emotional, I d burst in tears at the slightest things my husband would do.
When bleeding occurs for a longer period than it is usually as in your case then there are few possible causes and most common is a hormone imbalance. PCOS is one of the causes of hormonal imbalance.
While some causes may be easy to treat, others can indicate a serious underlying condition. Whether you notice spotting or heavier bleeding in between periods, it’s important to see your doctor for testing, diagnosis, and treatment options.
Other potential other causes of bleeding between periods include a growth in the uterus or cervix, stress, change in medications, miscarriage, vaginal dryness. Your doctor will also likely give you a physical exam, including a pelvic exam.
Diagnostic tests can help your doctor find the cause of the bleeding. Your doctor may draw blood to check hormone levels. Then the right treatment can be recommended.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
