General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A urinalysis can determine if there is blood with urine or not. Presence of blood in urine very likely means the bleeding is from the urinary system but does not rule out vaginal bleeding 100%. So I would recommend you to have a gynecological visit as well and according to the findings and your age and risk factors the doctor might consider other tests like pap smear, tests for sexually transmitted diseases, vaginal ultrasound and if you are over 35 yeast of age he might also consider endometrial biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
