General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The blood pressure readings in range of 123/77 to 163/93 at the age of 65 does not reflect hypertension by definition. However, home measurements of blood pressure with digital machine has not that much precision value as that of mercury machine of blood pressure measurement. Kindly get examined with your family physician for 3 consecutive days in a relaxed stage without worry for the precise readings and further guidelines.

Following advise will help you for sure till that time:
- Continue your cardio work out
- Regular walking in fresh air
- Deep breathing exercises
- Meditations
- YOGA
- Avoid stress and anxiety
- Manage regular, sound sleep of 8 hours
- Avoid smoking and alcohol if consuming

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
