What Causes Vertigo While Suffering From Sinusitis?

HI, I have a sinus infection and bronchitis being treated by my PCP with an antibiotic. I m also using a nasal rinse with salt and baking soda packets and compounded steroid (betamethasone) and antibiotic (gentimicin), an inhaler, advair, antihistamine spray, and Flonase. I tried popping my ear by pinching my nose and blowing out with a closed mouth. The room started spinning, sweat covered my body and I felt nauseous. I ve had vertigo in the past but this was the worst I ve ever experienced. I dry heaved and stayed still. After a nap I still feel slightly nauseous and have some pain in my left ear. I think pressure. I can walk around but not for long. Im a teacher and need to go back to work after two days off. Any suggestions?
