What Causes Voluminous Stool With History Of Elevated BP?

What would cause voluminous stools in an 80+ yr. old woman who eats a gluten free, but very healthy diet.? I am 5 41/2 & weigh 115 lbs. Only health issues are high blood pressure (hereditary) for which I take meds & osteoporosis for which I take V. D3 & do weight bearing exercises. Thx

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.

There is no co-relation between voluminous stools and high blood pressure.

In your query you mentioned that you are taking a very healthy diet, so voluminous stools might be because of that only.

I will advice you to take small meals frequently in-spite of having a large meal at once.

Do some Yoga, Aerobics, morning walk, add green leafy vegetables & Curd in diet.

wish you a good health.

Thanks & Regards
Dr. Shiv
