What Causes Vomiting And Frequent Fainting While Having Hiatal Hernia?

My friend is and 80 year old female who has had Hiatal hernia for many years. She eats very small meals most of the time. On occassion however, she has had nausea, vomiting and has passed our after eating what she thinks is too large a meal. Is this possible. Her blackouts are coming more often and now she had fallen again after a luncheon date and has fractured her wrist and many fingers. So we would like to know if there is a connection between passing out after eating and hiatal hernia.

No , there is not direct connection between passing out and hiatal hernia , as both of these are unrelated . There might be some other factor responsible for this . May be her blood pressure is not within normal range (mostly low). Get her BP checked , and if that comes out to be normal then consult a physician.
