What Causes Vomiting And Stomach Pain?
My husband keeps throwing up. He was seen at the VA er last month. Sent him home with throw up pills and pain med. In the last week he has thrown up two days. Right now he has been throwing up and has pain in the middle to right side of his tummy. Now he says it is in the middle under his rib cage. Should I take him to the V A ER?

further evaluation needed.
do following test : 1. complete blood cell count 2. LFT
3. H.pylori test if age50 and/or anemic
5. urinalysis
metoclopramide OR domeperidone maybe used before meals to combat vomiting. and esomeprazole 20mg maybe used before meal until waiting for test results.
meanwhile:
- use two pillows under your head, when you lie down/sleep.
- eat your last mean 3 hours before going to bed
-Avoid spicy food, oil rich food,
- No smoking and NO alcohol.
- do NOT eat mouth full.
-no cold drinks and NO junk food
- try to avoid drinking water at the end of a meal.
