My 10 year old grand daughter has be vomiting and very tired and very pale, for the past 3 days. She gets this at least once a month. My daughter took her to the er and they are saying she has a stomach bug that is just lasting longer than usual. I feel they are just too quick to say it s just a bug! But I m not there with them. What do you think?

As per your query your children have vomiting and tiredness, well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like dehydration, gastroenteritis, sleep deprivation and underlying systemic pathology. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to drink plenty of fluid like plain water and ORS along with , take proper rest and sleep and consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test and check vitals . Doctor may refer you to cardiologist or endocrinologist If the condition will be related with cardiac disorder or diabetes . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with other testament.
