What Causes Vomiting,dizziness And High Temperature After An Eye Test?

My husband has been on Picc LINE rocephin antibotics for strep infection (7 weeks). After an eye examine, he became sick--vomiting, dizzy, his joints felt as if the skin was being pulled from them. He ran a high temperature. His face was swollen and red like a sunburn, including his ears down to his collar bone. The rest of his body appeared pale grey, and hot also.

One of the possibility is use of atropine drops, though it is not usual during routine eye exam.
But this becomes ok soon.

It may be used to control uveal reaction or keratitis for quick relief.
