Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Warm Left-sided Sensations Below Heart, Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness?
My husband is experiencing very warm sensations internally on his left side, well below the heart, and more toward the front, not near the kidney area. He isn t experiencing any additional symptoms, such as shortness of breath, pain, dizziness, etc. The come in waves then dissipate within a few seconds. He just recently had a stint inserted in the main artery.
Since your husband has history of stent inserted in the main artery and now he is experiencing discomfort in the chest you are suggested to get him a follow up clinical examination done by the treating surgeon. The treating doctor may recommend repeat tests and investigation to study any developing complications.
Not always but sometimes heart problems return after a stent procedure. They may manifest symptoms like fatigue, chest pain, shortness of breath, etc. Do not neglect, get him examined by the treating surgeon so that the symptoms can be managed at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
