What Causes Weakness In The Right Arm After Receiving A Botox Shot?
I had botox 3 injection on Monday in my right forearm for focal dystonia. I had 2 or 3 injections three months ago with no negative reaction. On Thursday I noticed a weakness in my right hand and arm. Today it seems a little worse. I called my Dr. s office and have not yet heard back. Will this go away soon?
Botox may act as neuromuscular blocking agent. It may cause muscle weakness. it may takes time to recover. Please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
