What Causes Weight Loss, Hair Loss And Loss Of Appetite?

since may i have lost 30 pounds,losing hair,decreased appetite sores. i am a 60 year old female. blood tests are unremarkable,urine negative,sputum cultures normal,blood cultures negative. liver enzymes normal. my physicians are unable to determine a diagnosis.

Thanks for contacting with your health problem and since most of the investigations are normal, thus other possibilities to look out for are:

. check with gastroscopy and ultrasound of abdomen to exclude any malignancy
. check with a Gastroenterologist to exclude celiac disease or malabsorption syndrome and/or with a Neurologist for under activity of pituitary causing reduced/decreased release of hormones
.good food [rich in proteins] along with regular exercise,working hours and sleep should be included in prescription given by your attending physician.
