What Causes Weird Sensation In My Throat?

About a year and a half ago, I began having this weird sensation in my throat near my left jaw. It was a tingling, shocking pain sensation. I saw three different doctors and had a normal MRI. I continued to have it for several months. It went away for about 4 or 5 months but has since returned. Now, in addition to this pain by my jaw, I now have a pain in the center of my throat. It is not always there but can occur as a periodic pain and sometimes I have a sharp pain on the same side of my throat. Sometimes this pain goes to my ear. I am concerned I have some sort of cancer.

I have gone through your query regarding weird sensation in throat, which have now turned to pinching pain in throat and some times this pain radiates to ear also.

Your clinical history indicates that there may be some pathology in your tonsil, nasopharynx or base of tongue and temporomandibular joint. Because diseases from any of these site give rise to weird feeling in throat and pain. Some times this pain may be referred to ear also.

This above may be rule out by a thorough examination by your ENT doctor.
