What Causes Wheezing And Severe Cough While Suffering From Flu?

I was diagnosed with Type B flu and given Tamiflu, cough pearls, predisone and inhaler to use. I now have wheezing in my lungs that can be heard. The cough is very severe and I have yet to be able to bring up any mucous. Was given meds on Saturday, this is Sunday.

When our respiratory passege gets over sensitive to outer air particles like dust,pollen then it gets constricted when it is exposed to them during breathing so when air passege while breathing through this constricted air passage then wheezing sound is produced
