What Causes Wheezing Cough In An Infant?

My baby of 6 months have a wheezing cough for the last 2 weeks. Dr said to just keep on with Prospan, as there is nothing else really to give. It did not help. They said the slyme needs to be thinned that it can come out, thing is, it s not coming out. Got Adco-flupain together with adco-linctopent from chemist that I ve been giving her the last 4 days...frels like it s not doing anything. I have a nebulizer, will it help? I ve got duolin repsules, budoneb, ventolin and adco-ipratropium. Please help!!! Thanks!

Hello,

As you explain the situation, yes, nebulizer might help, use it twice only along with mucolytics you are actually using.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla, Pulmonologist
