What Causes White Patches Inside Mouth And Swollen Tonsils?
I have white patches on inside of my mouth kind of near the back near the tonsils and small red spots on side of cheeks . My tonsils are enlarged and red because I had strep throat 2 months ago and it s been like this since . I don t know what s going on and it s freeking me out .
After going through your question there is likely possibility of infection in your case either reactivation of streptococal infection or possibly fungal infection which may be due to long term antibiotic use.

Following investigations may help in management- - Complete blood count. - ESR, CRP. - Chest xray.
You can try gargles with candid mouth wash and Luke warm salted water, lozenges.
