What Causes White Raised Spot On Eye Causing Pricking Sensation?
I have a white raised spot on my eye in the white part closest to my nose. I do not wear contacts. I do not recall scratching or poking my eye. It feels like there is something in my eye since 4 days ago. I didn t see anything then the next day I saw a raised clear spot that I thought was a scratch. Its not days later my eye feels the same discomfort and the white is getting larger. What do I do I have never had an eye issue. (32 yr old female).
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having a white spot over the eye with irritation. These symptoms indicate inflammatory conditions of the eye like episcleritis, scleritis.... This requires treatment by the use of antiinflammatory drugs and steroids in few cases depending on the severity of inflammation.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you With regards
