What Causes Wrinkles And Swelling Under The Eye Post An Eye Lift?
Hi, I am 55 and although told didn t need under eye lift I did anyway for future youthfulness and it s been a week . My left eye on the first day of surgery lost a stitch in the corner and I blead but my son said its not a big deal. Well now my left eye looks bigger than my right although still bruises and swelling and not sure it will change, I m worried the stitch was important for the eyes to match... I also had no wrinkles and now I have wrinkles under my eyes... I m extremely freaked out that the sock eye look will be worse since I see darker eyes and I am now very uneven in my eyes... Should I worry or is all this par for the course ? My plastic surgeon is now too busy to talk to me and help reassure me ...also is he responsible to add a stitch if needed ? And one more thing is the last corner stitch what holds my muscle in place? Thank you, Gin
It is quite common after any cosmetic surgery. Generally, it will settle by itself without any additional treatment. If lesion persists you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
