What Causes Yellow Fluid Discharge Few Days After Wisdom Teeth Removal?

My teenage son had his wisdom teeth removed exactly 7 days ago today. This morning when irrigating the lower sockets with a plastic irrigating syring given by the office, I saw a yellow fluid coming out. Same before dinner and a few hours later. He denies having much of any pain, no bad taste from the fluid and he has minimal swelling. The sockets look to be a healthy pink, not red or infected. I m concerned about this yellow discharge tho... He has been on an antibiotic the whole time. Today is the last day (Keflex 500mg). Should I be concerned?

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood the history of removal of the wisdom tooth of your son.
If the yellow fluid is clear yellow, this is just a serum coming from the raw surface of the wound and nothing to worry about.
This this is dirty yellow like a pus, you need to visit the Dentist, get examined and be assured of the exact diagnosis and possibly change of the antibiotic and additional medicines for early healing as within 7 days this should have been healed.
