What Causes Yellowish Stool After Having Gaviscon For Acid Reflux?
I have gerd. Came off of dexilent a month ago after being on it for a year and a half. Started causing chest pains. Don t have them anymore. But got rebound acid reflux. Have been taking gaviscon and Roland s back and forth for a week now a couple times a day. The past 3 days my stool is light yellow. Is it from that? I m worried never had this before. I have taken Roland s in the past and gaviscon only 2 times in the past but Im hoping that s what it is. I m eating and feeling fine.
Hi ! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. As per your history, you are eating feeling fine. Then I do not think there is any reason to be apprehensive on the colour of your stool, which being light yellow apparently appears to be normal. In case you get any other clinical problems, then you could consult your family physician for a general clinical assessment.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
