Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCAREMAGIC...
I have gone through your query and can understand your health concerns. .
As per your complain and location of the lump it seems to a
mucous cyst formed due to ruptured minor
salivary gland or its duct leading to spillage of mucous into the soft tissues and formation of a lump and the condition is known as
MUCOCELE..
Mucocele is commonly painless and does not cause much of discomfort..
Many a times small Mucocele gets resolved without any treatment while large Mucocele needs surgical removal..
In case if Mucocele is small but persistent lazer ablation can be done..
As of now you can do concentrated salt water rinses as it can help in regression of Mucocele..
Chances of any malignant lesion like a
cancerous tumor are less likely as mostly they are indicated and attached to underlying tissues and does not move freely which is not in your case..
But I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated for a clinical evaluation..
Hope this information helps..
