What Could Anteverted And Bulky Uterus In Sonography Report Suggest?
Hello Doc.
This is Sabrina from Bangladesh. My mother has problem with her uterus. Her Sonography result are given below:
Pelvic Organs: Uterus is anteverted and bulky. There is a large complex soft tissue mass in palvis which is not separeted from uterus neasuring about (8.5X7.5)cm, possibly large fibroid or right adnexal mass. Cul-de-sac is free of any collection.
Impression: Bulky uterus with large soft tissue mass in the pelvis, possibly fibroid or right adnexal mass.
Cytopathology report: negative for malignancy
Haematology report: Microcytic hypochromic anaemia
Haemoglobin- 7.6 gm/di
ESR- 24 mm in 1st hr (wasterg)

Hello
Your USG findings indicate large size uterus and there is a big mass in right adnexa.It may be right adnexal mass(might have originated from ovary) or large fibroid.
This condition need further evaluation like contrast CT scan of abdomen.
Treatment depend upon investigation findings.
If it comes out fibroid then it may be managed conservatively depending upon symptoms,age,family is completed or not etc.
Adnexal mass may require tumour markers.
