What Could Be 104 Temperature With Swallowing Difficulty And Cough In A 2 Years Old Child With Influenza Test Report Negative?

Yes my 2 year old has been running 104 temp. He can't swallow and is drooling. We are using Tylenol suppository. Every time I try to give him Motrin he throws up and can't swallow. He was tested for influenza which was negative but not tested for anything else. He is very uncomfortable and restless can't sleep for longer than10 min witout waking up crying. Cough sounds croupy to me.

HI. I would advise you to take the child for an admission in a Hospital as he is unable to swallow, he can go into dehydration very fast. Pediatricians would be in a better position to clinically diagnose and carry on further management.
