What Could Be Causing The Pain In Knee When Standing And Walking Which Moves To Either Hip Nor Ankle?

I have a knee problem. My right knee is very painful when I get from a sitting to a standing position, It seems to be weak at that point, however, as I take a few steps, the pain lessens, but does continue, just not as much as when I first stand up. Sometimes the pain moves down into my ankle area and sometimes goes up to the upper thigh to the hip.

Thanks for query. The symptoms you mention fit with osteoarthritis .it is called morning stiffness.osteoarthritis is due to biochemical breakdown of articular (hyaline) cartilage in the synovial joints.Initially, pain can be relieved by rest and may respond to simple analgesics. However, joints may become unstable as the osteoarthritis progresses.consult a rheumatologist he will evaluate for the severity and prescribe meds to stop progression of disease .regards

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the arthritis, may be osteo arthritis if you are aged more than 40 years.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an MR.I. for confirmation.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken,
and sea foods till the arthritis is cured.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
