What Could Be Next For Tolerance Towards Percocet?
I am on percocet for 3 yrs. now to manage my pain it was working up until recently i think ive built up a tolerance and am scared to move to the next level, of pain meds. as am frightened of the withdrawl ive seen others go thru on Oxycontin, what other options are avail.
hi, when opiods are not working, it is generally due to tolerence and low dose. you may increase the dose after consulting with your doctor. Even if this do not work, you have other options like tramadol and tapentadol, which will have similar effect. Chronic refractory pain should be managed under consultation of a pain specialist as most of these drugs have tendency to develop abuse. Hope this helped.
